Beneficiary numbers come from attendance and distribution records captured in the field, not from estimates.
Reconciled before publication
Figures are cross-checked against partner reporting and financial records before they appear here.

Where a programme underperformed, we report that alongside the results. Our annual reports carry the detail.
Accountability
The controls behind the numbers
Figures are only as trustworthy as the organisation reporting them. These are the commitments that govern how we spend, decide and disclose.
Independent oversight
A governing board with responsibility for strategy, financial oversight and executive accountability, meeting on a fixed schedule with recorded minutes.
Separation of duties
Authorisation, execution and reconciliation of payments are held by different people. No single individual can initiate and complete a disbursement.
External audit
Annual financial statements prepared for independent audit, with the auditor’s report published in full — including any qualifications.
Community feedback and complaints
A route for the people we serve to raise a concern about our staff or programmes without going through the staff concerned.
Safeguarding
Screening, training and clear reporting lines for the protection of children and at-risk adults across every programme and partner.
Donor restriction honoured
Restricted funds are tracked separately and applied only to the purpose given, with reporting against that purpose.
