Humanitarian Response
Rapid, dignified support for families affected by displacement, conflict, flooding and other emergencies.
Statistics, partners, documents and stories are unverified placeholders awaiting LAHDI’s content.

Smallholder farmers produce the majority of the food consumed across much of the continent, frequently on land that is getting drier and with inputs that are getting more expensive.
Agricultural work focuses on the points where a small change compounds: improved inputs and practice, better storage to cut post-harvest loss, and collective marketing so that farmers are not selling alone at the bottom of the price cycle.
Climate-adapted practice runs through all of it, because the growing seasons farmers plan around are no longer the ones they inherited.
