Humanitarian Response
Rapid, dignified support for families affected by displacement, conflict, flooding and other emergencies.
Statistics, partners, documents and stories are unverified placeholders awaiting LAHDI’s content.

For many rural households the barrier to health care is not belief or willingness — it is distance, cost and the state of the nearest facility.
Health work concentrates on what can be delivered close to home: outreach and screening, maternal and child health support, health education, and strengthening the community health workers who are already the first point of contact.
Wherever possible this is done through the public health system rather than alongside it, so that capability stays in place.
