Humanitarian Response
Rapid, dignified support for families affected by displacement, conflict, flooding and other emergencies.
Statistics, partners, documents and stories are unverified placeholders awaiting LAHDI’s content.

Africa has the youngest population in the world. That is a demographic fact that becomes an economic outcome only if young people can find or create work where they live.
Youth programming pairs practical, market-relevant skills with the things that usually determine whether a new enterprise survives: mentorship, a small amount of start-up capital, and access to people who already trade in that market.
Young people are treated as participants in the design, not recipients of it. The programmes that work are the ones young people help shape.
